Sorainen assessed whether Riga City Council had a legal basis to retain its participation in Rīgas namu pārvaldnieks and analysed possible scenarios for terminating its participation, taking into account the requirements of regulatory enactments, Rīgas namu pārvaldnieks’ business strategy, and the interests of Riga City Council. The consultation also covered questions of interest representation and communication in the context of the scenarios for termination of participation that were reviewed. Based on the participation assessment, Riga City Council has decided to begin preparations to list Rīgas namu pārvaldnieks shares on the stock exchange.
