Piret Jesse, a co-head of our Corporate and M&A practice in Estonia and Eva Berlaus, the country managing partner of our Latvian office and head of our Corporate and M&A practice group in Latvia were recognised by the guide for the second time this year. Karin Madisson, a co-head of our Corporate and M&A practice in Estonia, received this recognition for the first time.

Leading female transactional lawyers in the world

In addition to being experts in the field of M&A, they also have notable expertise in other areas, including real estate transactions for Piret, corporate governance for Eva and employment law for Karin.

”Piret, Eva and Karin are not only outstanding professionals in their field, but also dedicated colleagues who inspire our entire team on both a personal and professional level. I admire Eva’s constant availability to support our people and clients despite her huge managerial responsibility, Piret’s coaching skills and drive to ensure exceptional quality in everything she does, and Karin’s dedication to improve the business and social environment beyond legal services. All three have broken all glass ceilings in corporate and transaction advisory business which used to be dominated by male players. This recognition is much deserved for Eva, Piret and Karin, and we are proud to celebrate their work,’’ comments partner and co-head of our Corporate and M&A practice in Estonia, Toomas Prangli.
