We advised the Danish private equity fund ETNA Capital on securing bank financing from SEB Bank in Lithuania to support its acquisition of a majority stake in Brolis Defence Group, a Lithuania-based developer and manufacturer of advanced electro-optical systems for defence and security applications.
The transaction was structured as a leveraged buyout (LBO), combining private equity investment with bank financing provided by SEB Bank in Lithuania. This marks one of the first leveraged buyout transactions of this scale in the Baltic States, highlighting the region’s growing capacity to support sophisticated, private equity-backed acquisitions.
ETNA is a private equity firm dedicated to strengthening European resilience by investing in companies within defence, cyber security, and the protection of critical infrastructure.
Brolis Defence Group develops advanced infrared, electro-optical, laser and sensor technologies for defence and security applications. Its capabilities align well with increasing European investment in defence readiness, strategic autonomy and resilient supply chains.
