To ensure availability of disinfectants needed to stabilise the state of emergency, to support people living in Latvia and help mitigate the consequences of Covid-19, the Olaine chemical factory BIOLARS has said it is ready to start manufacturing disinfectants in its production plants. Taking into account the increased demand for ‒and unreasonably high prices of ‒ disinfectants, Biolars will try to set affordable prices for its products, in line with purchasing power.
We provided legal assistance to Biolars in drafting documents for approval by the State Environmental Service and the State Revenue Service to launch production of disinfectants.
