Sorainen advised Google Payment Lithuania in obtaining an e-money institution licence from the Bank of Lithuania.

Google entered the online payments market in 2015 as a digital wallet platform and online payment system enabling users to send and receive money, pay for Google products and pay for in-store purchases.

Sorainen advised on all legal issues related to obtaining an e-money institution licence in Lithuania.
