Two new tax partners with decades of experience
Sorainen has strengthened its partnership by admitting attorneys-at-law Dr Aistė Medelienė and Dr Mindaugas Lukas as partners.
Dr Aistė Medelienė has more than 20 years of experience in tax and customs law, combining strategic tax advisory with extensive experience in resolving complex tax disputes. Her long‑standing work as tax arbiter at the Commission on Tax Dispute for 11 years and then as distinguished tax advisor and litigator for 15 years has provided her with in‑depth insight into tax administration and risk assessment, enabling her to find the solutions in the most sophisticated tax situations.

The team is further enhanced by Andrius Venius, who joins as senior associate, and Grasildė Vileikienė, who joins as associate.
Andrius Venius has more than 20 years of experience in tax disputes and customs law and controversies, double taxation issues and environmental taxes. His background includes successful representation in tax disputes and work with tax authorities.
Grasildė Vileikienė focuses on direct taxation, tax compliance, and tax audits. She has participated in both national and international tax projects and represents the next generation of tax professionals within Sorainen’s growing team.
