Applications for Sorainen’s Shared Mission programme 2021, which will provide EUR 100,000 worth of free legal and tax advice to innovative projects, are now open. At Sorainen, we are committed to making the world a better place. In order to make a difference, we support initiatives that we believe in. After the success of the Shared Mission Programme 2020, we decided to make it a part of our sustainability strategy and run it again this year.
We can help your innovative projects become a reality. And legally protected
The projects we support are expected to contribute to our core purpose, which is increasing prosperity and wellbeing in the Baltic States and Belarus, as well as to have a strong element of innovation. We are looking for companies, projects, services and initiatives that aim to do good in local and global communities in any way that may be called innovative.
We welcome applications from everyone, but our main focus for 2021 is health, both physical and mental. The pandemic is taking its toll and we are eager to help good initiatives that make it easier to cope with its impact.
Criteria for applicants
Focus: Innovative projects that make a positive contribution to the region – your innovation can relate to any sphere of human life, although health-related projects are especially welcome. We would also gladly consider forming long-term partnerships with qualifying organisations.
Entity form: Projects carried out by all kinds of organisations and individuals are welcome – they can be NGOs, established companies or government agencies; innovators themselves or participants in innovative projects. We are hoping to include some startups in the programme.
Geography: Projects can be either local or international. Initiatives that cover all the Baltic countries and preferably also Belarus would be ideal candidates.
Expected scope: The number of hours of free legal and tax advice is not limited; the scope of work will be agreed between us and the project managers. We want to help as many organisations as possible, but we also want to be sure that we see through what we have started, in order to get maximum impact.
Legal issues: We can advise on all the legal and tax issues that you may face, from establishing an entity and creating agreements, to data protection and intellectual property issues.

About the Shared Mission programme
The Shared Mission programme was launched in 2020 by Sorainen to support faster recovery of our region from the health and economic crisis caused by the Covid-19 pandemic by giving free legal and tax advice to projects working towards this goal.
