We advised Tallinna Lauluväljak, the owner and operator of the Tallinn Song Festival Grounds, on reviewing and updating its standard contractual documentation. The Tallinn Song Festival Grounds is a nationally important venue with a capacity of up to 100,000. It is best known as the site of the traditional Estonian Song Festival and for hosting major international concerts and large-scale public events.

We aimed to modernise the client’s agreement portfolio to better reflect evolving legal and commercial requirements, mitigate risk exposure, and support the management of increasingly complex event operations.

Given the historical, cultural and economic importance of Tallinn Song Festival Grounds as a leading venue in Estonia and the wider region, this project was vital to ensure the alignment of the client’s contractual framework with best practice. This will guarantee the continued effective use of the premises for both national and international events.

Our services included a comprehensive review and revision of the client’s standard rental agreements for both indoor and outdoor premises, covering a broad range of uses – from private events to large-scale festivals, concerts and other public gatherings. In addition, we reviewed and updated the client’s service agreement template.

Our team was led by partner Piret Jesse and supported by senior associates Vladislav Leiri and Andra Grünberg.
