Professional highlights

Broad experience. During my student years I undertook numerous internships in both public and private sectors locally and abroad. In particular, I interned at the Estonian Ministry of Justice and at a business law firm in Brussels. I used to work full-time for the firm’s Corporate and M&A practice area, where I helped several international clients set up business in Estonia, having been involved in the entire establishment process as well as having dealt with post‑establishment matters.

Education first. I graduated with a master’s degree from the University of Tartu. Throughout my studies I took part in various legal courses in Tallinn, Nicosia, and Vienna. That said, spending a semester abroad at Ghent University was undoubtedly the highlight of my academic experience. Exchange studies helped me acquire deeper knowledge in the fields of European Union, corporate, and transport law. Besides, I studied project management and obtained basic Dutch and French language skills.

Thinking big. My interest lies above all with European Union law. Ever since studying abroad I greatly value the well-formed legislation of the European Union and appreciate the knowledge I am able to obtain from those with different cultural and social backgrounds. By nature, I am a huge energy and technology enthusiast. My master thesis focused on legal challenges that arise from implementation of personalised pricing in online marketplaces. I am inspired by how current law is challenged by the latest technological solutions and do my best to keep updated with recent developments in that field.
