We advised Sunly on the legal framework, contract preparation and market-facing communications relating to the launch of its new heating solutions service line and entry into the heating services market.

Our work included developing the contractual model for heat supply and equipment rental, updating that framework as the service evolved, and advising on the gradual rollout of the service.

Sunly enters the heating services market

From a business concept to a market-ready service

This mandate was notable because we supported the client not on a single contract or legal issue, but throughout the creation and development of an entirely new service line. We helped turn a new commercial concept into a legally workable service, supporting both the initial structuring of the product and its subsequent adaptation to practical needs.

In addition to preparing contractual documentation, we supported the launch of the service, including delivering a webinar for apartment associations and advising on communications related to the provision of heating services.

Our services and client team

We advised on the regulatory aspects of the proposed service model, supported the development of the product concept, prepared and updated template agreements, and advised on pricing-related and other commercial matters affecting the contractual structure. As the service evolved, we also reviewed and refined the contractual arrangements and supported the client in contract negotiations and communications with customers and other stakeholders.

Our team was led by senior associate Kätlin Sehver and partner Kaupo Lepasepp, supported by senior associate Cathriin Majas and associate Kärt Saar.
