About me
As a counsel, practising law since 2002, my core areas of expertise are banking and finance, as well as restructuring and insolvency.
Professional highlights
Banking and finance. I possess significant experience of working on large loan projects representing both borrowers and lenders.
Finance sector regulation. I have often analysed the activities of banks, payment institutions and electronic money institutions to assure that they are in line with the Latvian regulatory regime.
Restructuring and insolvency. I advise clients on insolvency and LPP issues and represent creditors in insolvency and restructuring processes.
Legislative environment. I assisted the Association of Latvian Commercial Banks in preparing a law on credit bureaus by studying existing regulation, as well as drafting a law on credit bureaus, which was later adopted.
