Nine ambitious impact-oriented startups, companies and associations from across Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania will receive tailored pro bono legal and tax support to conquer new external markets and grow the Baltic economies, under the current theme of Sorainen’s annual pro bono Shared Mission programme “Doing good knows no borders”.

Sorainen has selected nine organisations to join Shared Mission 2026. This year’s selection was chosen from a record 59 applications, a 55% increase on 2025, reflecting strong demand across the Baltics for expert support on cross-border growth. The selected organisations will begin working with Sorainen lawyers in autumn 2026.

About Shared Mission

Now in its seventh consecutive year, Shared Mission provides selected organisations with tailored legal and tax support worth up to EUR 100,000 each year, delivered by Sorainen’s expert teams across Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. The programme is a core part of Sorainen’     s sustainability strategy and remains the only structured programme of its kind in the Baltics. To date, it has supported more than 50 impact-driven projects across the region.

This year’s theme, “Doing good knows no borders”, puts the focus on purpose-driven organisations preparing to expand beyond a single Baltic country or to scale internationally. Support is agreed individually with each recipient and may include advice on regulatory matters, contracts, intellectual property, privacy and data protection, tax planning and corporate structuring. The aim is to help organisations clear legal hurdles, strengthen operational readiness and build stakeholder confidence, so they can focus on growing their impact.

The selected winners

Estonia

  • WasteLocker: provides predictive physics-based digital twins for operators in complex physical environments.
  • Nanordica Medical: a medtech company developing Premotiv®, a patent-protected wound dressing for chronic wounds. The company is seeking legal support in connection with the launch of Premotiv®, including legal documentation for distributors, subcontractors and investors.
  • Takara Medical: a medtach engineering company bringing innovations from lab to  customers. Takara Medical’s mission is to elaborate solutions and technologies using plant-based, animal-free ultrapure alginate targeted at different market levels; as well as working on skin health, wound care, regenerative medicine and other industries.

Latvia

  • The Red Jackets, the Latvian Exporters Association represents more than 85 export-oriented companies, with a combined turnover exceeding EUR 4 billion. Their mission is to strengthen Latvia’s international competitiveness, promote export growth, and advocate for policies that increase productivity and prosperity.
  • Ausma Media: Nanny Tuta (“Tutas lietas” in Latvian) is a leading Latvian educational children’s brand seeking legal support to protect its intellectual property, strengthen licensing practices, and ensure sustainable future growth.

Lithuania

  • Elarionas: a Lithuanian hardware startup designing and manufacturing electronic drone parts and connectivity solutions without Chinese critical components. Their goal is securing Western drone component supply chains by reducing their significant dependence on Chinese parts.
  • Brachydose: a patient-centred, data-driven solution that helps oncology teams reduce radiotherapy-related side-effects and deliver safer, more effective cancer treatment.
  • FPRO Sports Global: a youth sports technology platform helping young players develop fundamental football skills through structured daily training and gamified learning.
  • Luna Robotics: developing night vision camera systems that provide genuine 24/7 visibility for FPV drones and unmanned systems, and don’t include Chinese components.

What happens next

Selected organisations have been notified and are being invited to project scoping meetings. Project work will run from autumn through to the end of 2026, with each team paired with dedicated Sorainen lawyers across their relevant practice areas.
