Professional highlights

Trademarks. I am a Latvian trademark attorney and a professional representative before the European Union Intellectual Property Office, with a specialisation in trademarks and designs. I assist clients in the trademark registration planning process and application submission, preparing responses to refusals and oppositions received during the registration process, handling changes to trademark registers, as well as protecting trademarks against infringements and similar trademark applications.

Counterfeit goods. I help clients fight against counterfeit goods and services that unlawfully use their intellectual property. As part of this work, I have represented clients before the police in administrative offence and criminal cases, as well as before customs authorities, including participation in the process of destroying counterfeit goods.

Intellectual property audits. I conduct comprehensive audits of clients’ intellectual property, assessing existing assets, potential risks, and next steps for successful intellectual property protection worldwide. This includes trademarks, designs, copyrights, inventions, domain names, and other intellectual property.
