We advised international renewable energy company Energix Group on the acquisition of two renewable Lithuanian energy companies – UAB Boniškių vėjas and UAB Vandžiogalos vėjas – from E energija Group.
The acquired projects are located in the Kaunas region and strengthen Energix’s growing presence in Lithuania’s renewable energy market. The Boniškių vėjas project is being developed as a hybrid park combining 70 MW solar PV capacity, 42 MW wind capacity, and a 7 MW / 28 MWh battery energy storage system (BESS), with a total grid connection of 70 MW. The Vandžiogalos vėjas project is a wind park comprising six turbines, with a total installed capacity of 42 MW.
Energix Group is an international renewable energy company operating in the United States, Poland and Israel, developing and operating wind and solar energy projects across their full lifecycle. The transaction further reinforces Energix’s strategic focus on expanding its renewable energy portfolio in Europe and builds on its recent entry into the Lithuanian market through large-scale clean energy investments.
E energija is a renewable energy developer accelerating decarbonisation and climate action through onshore wind, solar, hybrid and energy storage projects. With a strong track record of projects developed, built and delivered to investors over the years, the company’s quality and reliability – reflected in its reputation – are key factors for investors seeking long-term value.
