Our International Arbitration practice has been included in the GAR 100, Global Arbitration Review’s guide to the top specialist arbitration firms worldwide. Our team has now achieved this recognition for five years in a row, reflecting our solid experience and excellence in the practice.

Experts with established track record

The first seeds of our arbitration practice were sown in 2011. Since then, our arbitration team has a track record of successful high-profiles disputes involving major claims, state and investor representation, and highly complex landmark cases. During commercial arbitration cases, we have represented clients before such leading arbitration institutions as the ICC, LCIA, SCC, SIAC and VIAC, as well as other regional and local institutions

Because of our established reputation, in-depth knowledge of law, solid experience and language skills, our specialists often sit as arbitrators for local, regional and international arbitration institutions.

Among the latest appointments, this year, the Republic of Estonia has appointed our partner, Dr Carri Ginter, as a member of the prestigious ICSID Panel of Arbitrators. Also, Ieva Rimavičienė has been appointed by the National Committee as an ICC Lithuania delegate for the 2022-2024 ICC Commission on Arbitration and ADR.

Our market-leading arbitration practitioners – Maria Pihlak, who heads the Sorainen International Arbitration subgroup, Dr Carri Ginter, and Allar Jõks in Estonia; and Valts Nerets and Agita Sprūde in Latvia; as well as Kęstutis Švirinas and Ieva Rimavičienė in Lithuania – not only lead our team in representing clients during complex cases but often also serve as public opinion leaders. As such, they excel at simplifying issues so that they can be better understood by everyone.
