About me
I am a corporate and M&A lawyer with more than 25 years of experience advising on domestic and cross‑border transactions across the Baltic and Nordic regions.
My background includes work as an early partner at a leading Baltic law firm, as well as a unique international private practice with White & Case in New York and Stockholm and with the Swedish‑French strategic management consulting firm SIAR‑Bossard in Stockholm. I have also gained in‑house experience as General Counsel of Swedish Match East Europe.

Professional highlights
Market-leading M&A experience. Over the past 25 years, I have acted as lead counsel on more than 2,000 landmark local and international M&A transactions across the Baltic and Nordic regions.
International perspective. I have gained broad international experience as an attorney at White & Case, a leading international law firm, in New York and Stockholm, as well as an associate legal counsel at Swedish-French consultancy SIAR-Bossard in Stockholm, and as General Counsel of Swedish Match East Europe.
Corporate governance expertise. I am a recognised expert in corporate governance and have served as a board member and/or corporate secretary to major companies, including Eesti Energia, Eesti Post, Swedish Match, Estonian Telecom (now Telia Eesti), Estonian Recycling Company, Tere/Farmi, Maag Food, Meeat Food Tech Oy, Elcogen AS, New Standard Oil OÜ, Estonian Development Fund, and the Estonian Festival Orchestra, founded by world-renowned conductor Paavo Järvi, as well as Paavo Järvi’s Music Foundation. I have also been lecturing on corporate governance topics at the Baltic Institute of Corporate Governance and am a member of the Business Law Committee of the Estonian Bar Association.
Capital markets involvement. I have been a long-standing member of the Listing and Supervisory Committee of the Nasdaq Tallinn Stock Exchange and have served as its Chairman for the past five years.
