Professional highlights

Representation and defence in criminal proceedings. I specialise in criminal law and represent clients at all stages of criminal proceedings, from pre-trial investigations through to court hearings. I advise on criminal law and criminal procedure matters, help clients assess legal risks and develop defence or representation strategies. My practice includes cases involving economic, financial, corruption, tax and other related criminal offences. By combining academic expertise with practical experience, I help clients navigate complex legal challenges and achieve effective outcomes.

PhD in criminal law. I defended my doctoral dissertation in law, within the field of social sciences, on cooperation between EU Member States in the transfer and takeover of sentenced persons for the continued enforcement of custodial sentences. My doctoral research was recognised as one of the best dissertations of the 2023/2024 academic year and received the Kazimieras Motieka Foundation Award. During my doctoral studies, I participated in a number of significant projects that contributed to my professional and academic development, deepened my knowledge in my chosen research area, and strengthened my analytical and problem-solving skills.

Academic engagement. I share my academic and professional experience with students by teaching national and EU criminal law courses at the Faculty of Law of Vilnius University. I actively contribute to the University’s academic community and the development of research initiatives. I have published articles in national and international publications and have authored sections of academic books published by international publishers, including Wolters Kluwer Italia and Prague Leges.
