We are advising ME Investicija on the sale of Viena sąskaita, the largest bill payment platform in Lithuania. The Estonia-based investment company Aktiva Finants has acquired 100% of the company shares. The deal is expected to be closed by the end of 2021, following approvals from Lithuanian regulatory institutions.

ME Investicija is an investment company, and owns Girteka Logistics, the leading transport and logistics company in Europe; and SIRIN Development, a commercial real estate development company.

Currently serving 170,000 customers and rapidly growing

Viena sąskaita is a rapidly growing online platform with high potential for development in other countries. It collects household monthly bills and allows users to pay them in one payment. Customers are able to pay bills from more than 2,500 service providers, including electricity, gas, telecommunication, school, kindergarten and other services.

“Since ME Investicija acquired 100% of the payment platform Viena sąskaita in 2017, the company has experienced a period of rapid growth. We believe that handing over a successful business to a strong investor will allow us to create additional value by offering new services for its 170,000 existing customers,” says Tomas Krakauskas, Chairman of the Board at Viena sąskaita, and Chief Investment Officer at ME Investicija.
