Sorainen Belarus advised Idea Bank, a member of Polish financial group Getin Holding, on its acquisition of Azimut, a business centre located in central Minsk with a total area of over 9,000 square metres.
Azimut was put into operation in 2011 and leased to a number of tenants, including the Polish Embassy in Belarus. Since closing the transaction in September 2014, Azimut is operated by Idea Bank, serving as its headquarters. This transaction is one of the most notable acquisitions completed in the Belarusian real estate market in 2014. The Sorainen team assisted the client with legal due diligence, preparation of transaction documents and regulatory matters.
