In the recently released rankings by leading international legal directories Chambers Europe and The Legal 500 EMEA 2026 guides, Sorainen has once again been recognised as a top-tier law firm, with record-breaking results across Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. All our teams have been ranked in the highest or very high bands.
These rankings are based on independent research and extensive client feedback, and reflect not only legal expertise but also the firm’s ability to support clients through complex business challenges across borders and sectors.
Navigating clients in complex business situations
Clients today rarely face isolated legal questions. Instead, they encounter layered challenges—regulatory uncertainty, cross-border transactions, evolving compliance requirements, and strategic business decisions that require clear direction.
“Our clients compete at great speed in complex environments. Deep legal expertise, combined with a strong understanding of our clients’ business sectors, enables us to guide them through challenging situations. This is the result of long-term investment in sector expertise and in building strong, cross-border teams that support clients throughout the full lifecycle of their projects. Even in the most difficult circumstances, we help chart a clear and confident path forward,” says Sorainen Managing Partner Eva Berlaus.

Client feedback collected during the research process consistently highlights Sorainen’s responsiveness, precision, and ability to cut through complexity. A satisfied client says: “Sorainen’s service levels and responsiveness are outstanding. It quickly sees the core of the problem and focuses on each and every detail that is important to the client.” Another adds: “The team combines rigorous legal analysis with practical, business focused judgement and coordinates effectively across jurisdictions.”
The team was also praised for its regional capabilities: “Sorainen stands out for its pan Baltic coordination and ability to mobilise resources across jurisdictions with consistency and speed.”
