About me
As an attorney-at-law and Senior Associate in the firm’s Dispute Resolution & Risk Management team, I advise and represent clients in a wide range of disputes, including both domestic and cross-border matters. My primary focus is on Insolvency & Restructuring in Lithuania. I also have substantial experience in administrative proceedings, corporate disputes, directors’ liability, and cases involving human rights violations.
Professional highlights
Insolvency & Restructuring ‒ from different perspectives. I have extensive experience in insolvency and restructuring matters, having represented insolvency administrators and the companies they administer, creditors of insolvent entities, as well as former management bodies in civil proceedings concerning their liability, including cases involving intentional insolvency. This multi-perspective experience enables me to effectively guide clients through bankruptcy and restructuring processes of varying complexity.
Liability and corporate disputes. I advise and represent clients in domestic and cross-border commercial disputes, with a particular focus on cases involving the civil liability of company management bodies, damages claims, and the annulment of transactions.
Administrative procedure. I regularly work alongside other practice groups on administrative cases challenging the actions and decisions of public authorities. My experience includes representing clients in disputes with customs, data protection, environmental protection, and other regulatory authorities.
Human rights protection. I place strong emphasis on ensuring that legal proceedings meet the standards of effective human rights protection. I have advised clients in proceedings before the European Court of Human Rights, including cases concerning the right to a fair trial, respect for private and family life, freedom of expression, and protection of property.
Experience before the Court of Justice of the European Union. With national legal systems becoming increasingly interconnected with EU regulation, the importance of interpreting EU law continues to grow. I have developed strong experience in this area by advising clients in preliminary ruling proceedings before the Court of Justice of the European Union.
