We supported the Estonian Employers’ Confederation in identifying unnecessary administrative burdens. During the one and a half months that ideas were being gathered, the Estonian Employers’ Confederation collected over 140 proposals for reducing bureaucracy and regulations.

In collaboration with the Confederation, we reviewed the collected ideas, consolidated those that were similar, and systematised them. We selected the 12 ideas that the government could implement quickest and submitted them to the economic advisory council convened by Prime Minister Kristen Michal.

The issues that most concern respondents are related to procedures and reporting, followed by requirements and obligations imposed on companies, and, thirdly, the stricter-than-necessary adoption of European Union requirements.
