About me

As a partner, I co-head the firm’s Real Estate and Construction practice in Latvia. Since 1997, I have enjoyed building a legal culture based on trust in client relations. My strength lies in finding non-standard solutions to complex client situations that often demand a multidisciplinary legal and even engineering approach and business insight.

Professional highlights

Complex projects successfully handled. I have handled numerous complex development projects, including under the terms of FIDIC (International Federation of Consulting Engineers), sale and leaseback transactions, and large-scale acquisitions.

Striving in competition. I enjoy friendly competition with heavyweight attorneys in negotiations and dispute settlement, as well as on the tennis court.

Improving regulations. I have contributed to drafting regulatory enactments on the prevention of divided ownership of real estate and property expropriation, liability and insurance in construction.
