About me
As a counsel specialising in employment law and personal data protection, I have been gaining experience in my key practice areas since 1999.
Professional highlights
Help in challenging matters. I help clients in challenging situations involving employment termination, disputes and litigation as well as ordinary everyday employment matters.
Certified data protection officer. A significant part of my professional attention focuses on compliance matters – personal data protection, workplace environment and safety requirement issues. I am also a certified personal data protection officer.
Trade union experience. I represent clients in negotiations related to employment law, including talks with employee-authorised representatives and trade unions, as well as disputes. Prior to joining Sorainen I spent six years working with Latvian trade unions as a specialist in collective agreement and bargaining issues and later as a legal counsel, which helped me gain valuable experience in how things happen on the “other side”.
